I am participating this week in Steph in the City's group blog, and the topic is Halloween Traditions. For about as long as I can remember, I've LOVED scary movies. We used to go to the rental store and at the age of 5, 6,or 7 instead of picking out strawberry shortcake and whinnie the pooh, I was picking out poltergiest. I love it! Halloween is the one time of year we get an excuse to watch loads of hours of television non-stop... marathon form! I literally can't say I've watched t.v. since April of this year, so I think I'm due for a fest of blood and guts. Luckily my BF shares the same love for horror films as I do.
Other Halloween traditions consist of decorating the house. It's gotta be cheesy, lol. Pumpkins! But my fave thing about Halloween is the crisp weather and the beautiful colors. Whit snapped some great photos yesterday right outside our house of the fall trees. We have leaves galore, when I was a kid I just had to play in them! I love just sitting outside in a hoodie and feeling and smelling the breeze on Halloween. Okay so you've heard about my traditions... what are some of yours?

My boyfriend doesn't like horror movies. Isn't that awful? Of course, I don't like the torture ones either anymore. He'll watch a movie like Poltergeist with me...or Close Encounters. But since he had a daughter he can't handle the scenes where kids seem like they might be harmed. It freaks him out.
Mine's about the same as yours. Just sit at home and watch scary movies. Usually something somewhat tame that I've seen a hundred times because I get to snuggle up in an empty house. I'm attempting to get the roommates out of the house for the night.
Yes, definitely, scary movies are a must during Halloween. Too bad I'm too chicken to watch scary movies, nowadays!
Ooooo I like watching horror movies but only with someone else! Its scary by yourself:) Cool decorating with pumpkins and leaves, I saw this awesome decoration at Michaels that were fake leaves in different colors that go around a door, pretty! mmm a hoodie, leaves and some fresh air sound so nice right now!
I used to LOVE poltergeist. In fact, I watched the true hollywood story about it tonight.
