Magic Jack
So I just recently started using Magic Jack as my home phone provider.
It just plugs right in to your computer. All you need is high speed internet of some sort and you are up and running!
It seriously took only like 5 minutes to set up. The software is installed automatically and there you are! The connection is a little rough, but for only $1.70 a month it's totally worth it. I guess technically if you take it with you and your laptop you have a mobile phone. LOL!

ive had this for almost 3 yrs now and i love it!! we live in japan on a navy base and i wasnt gonna have an outrageous bill calling home or visa versa .. so here i am 3 yrs later loving it !!!
