Grrrr...

I really hate some people!  I just had this lady contact me at Bloggy Blog Designz who has violated terms and conditions of her design.  She requested a refund.  I apologized and reminded her that we don't issue refunds for any reason.  Well she sent me an email today letting me know how disappointed she was, and how unfair it is.  I sent her a copy of our terms and conditions, highlighting the area "We do not issue refunds for any reason."  We also haven't had any contact from her since February.  In order for us to even begin a design, we have EVERYONE check a little box stating that they agree to and have read all of our terms and conditions.  So it's not my fault if she chose not to, but she did agree to them.  It pays to read those things ya know!
Anyhow, right after I sent her a copy of our terms and conditions, I received an email from paypal stating that she had opened a dispute against us.

"We are contacting you to let you know that one of your buyers recently visited the Resolution Center and attempted to open a dispute against a payment. The buyer wished to dispute the payment sent on Feb 22, 2011.  This dispute has been deferred because it was not opened within 45 days of payment.

Although this dispute is not eligible for negotiation in the Resolution Center, we have noted that the buyer was dissatisfied with this transaction.  We encourage you to work directly with the buyer to resolve this matter and take this opportunity to provide customer service as you see fit.

Thank you,   PayPal"

Even business's have a 30 day return policy.  It's been over three months!  I don't know.  I just am so upset about the whole thing.  She said that she wouldn't be sending business our way.  Which I can understand, but that sure sucks for us!

Yikes! That's horrible! I mean, after 30 days, it's her own problem! Sorry to hear this had to happen to you!

Brittney - Thanks for the support. I guess I tend to stress over little things too much.

I'm a full-time mummy - I agree. I feel like it is her problem. Paypal wouldn't even go along with the dispute because it was too late!

It's crazy to request a refund on something like this after it's been completed at all - let alone three months later. I'm sorry you're having to deal with it at all.

Lindsay - Thank you so much! I totally agree.

This upsets me too! You guys have been the easiest designers to work with and THE BEST! I always love working with you two. It is simple she is just ridiculous. Love you both! =D

You know, I know EXACTLY how you feel and it's interesting you posted this now. I sell clothes on eBay. Just my own clothes, no biggie. I get a few bucks per item if I'm lucky and because I try not to overcharge on shipping, sometimes I end up making only a buck or two because I miscalculated the shipping. So anyway...here's how eBay always goes for me. I realize I haven't sold anything in a while, so I put a bunch of stuff up. I deal with going to the post office and doing all the work for chump change for a month or two, and then something happens like what happened to you. Last year someone did a chargeback. She won the item, didn't pay or respond to e-mails, then when I filed with eBay to say she hadn't paid so I could get my fees back, she finally paid. She got the item (which she paid $2.99 for) and went to PayPal and did a chargeback, claiming she'd never received it. I sent a copy of my receipt and the matter was closed. I stopped selling for a while, then I just went back on in April. I collected chump change for a while and, just when I was starting to burn out, someone (an eBay newbie) left me negative feedback without contacting me to see if I'd resolve the problem first. Grrrrr.

I just don't like the conflict. I'm sure you feel the same. I don't like nasty e-mails and feeling that hatred people have when something goes wrong. I don't know how companies do it!

Nicole - Thanks so much for the love. I love blog designing and get upset when someone isn't happy with the service I provide.

Stephanie - I am sorry that you have had a similar or several similar experiences. People can be so rude!

People like this just seem to have nothing better to do. It pisses me off and yes, I completely understand. I know it bothers you even though you will never meet this lady nor have any more contact with her, but its still wrong of her to act this way. She's dumb and try not to let it get to you so much although I know things like that are hard to just let go

I'm really sorry Babe...yea, that it does suck for us..but she brought it on herself not reading the terms and conditions! By the way, if you switch to Wordpress I wanna too!! And I love your design, it's very fun and does seem like you, but if you think you can do even better I totally understand!
