I'm back!

Okay, so I have ever so kindly been reminded that I haven't posted in at least a billion years.  Where has the time gone?  I came back from Denver, and seriously we are soooooooooooo swamped over at Bloggy Blog Designz which is a fantastic thing... BUT it hasn't left me much time for doing anything else.  Alright so a quick recap on Denver, it was amazing as always.  I love my family so much.  It really is hard to be so far from them.  For some reason, this year I realized more than any other how much I NEED family in my life.  I miss having them around, and watching my nieces and nephews grow.  They are so great.  My oldest niece Paige... frickin crack up!

This is Paige and her BFF at Paiges Birthday party of sorts.  Just family and her BFF, ice skating.  YEAH, ME, ice skating... not a good idea. But I miraculously did not fall.  It was fun, and I was happy I got to be there for the big 1-3!  She is a teenager now.

I love that girl.  So basically, the rest of the trip went like this... eat, sleep, laugh, cook, work a little, laugh, eat, sleep... etc.  It is always fun to be with my fam.  My sis talked her hubby into getting this adorable little fluff monster.

His name is Gunner, and I love him.  How could you not?  He was 10 weeks, I think???? when I got there, and I helped to train him on a few things.  Like how to sit, and come when his name is called.  He is nothing short of precious, and a terror all wrapped in to one.  Love it.  I miss you Gunner!

We had our Christmas dinner on Christmas Eve, so we could enjoy Christmas day to the max.  It was delish.

That, my friends, is a fried turkey! One of my FAVE things to have EVER!  Yummmy. So on Christmas morning, all the kids got lined up to come down and take a look at what Santa brought for them.

Next the chaos ensued.

Look at that adorable face... this is the mini me.  I love her to death.  She is going to be a model I guess!  She poses for EVERY picture!

This fellow, rarely made an appearance.  He is a loner, and likes it that way.  Happy to spend his time anywhere that the "crazy" isn't happening... I envied him at times.  hee hee.

It was nice to spend some time with Sis, we didn't fight even once.  Now that we are older, I think it makes it easier.  I guess I am less of the younger annoying lil sis that I used to be.  I admit I played to role well, but I am happy to know my sis as well as I do.  To have the great relationship that we do.  I know it can't be peachy all the time, but really we are pretty close. She is pretty remarkable, as are a lot of moms, but I wonder if I could do all that she does and still maintain to "keep it together."

Of Course, MOM!  Oh how I love you.  My best friend.  I am happy we got to spend time together.  Talk, laugh, reminisce, and just be.  It reminded me of family and what life is all about.  Thanks for being such a great mom and an amazing woman.  You have incredible faith and I appreciate your patience with me over the years.  Your unconditional love is an example to me.

I hope everyone had as great of a Holiday Season as I did.  Sorry I have been gone so long!  I will do my best, to post again soon.  I missed you all!
