Colorado Trip

I've been having a blast in Denver with the fam so far.  We have bee swimming... got a nasty sunburn.  Mom and I got pedicures.  I got my hair cut.  We listened to the kids play sing it.  We have laughed.  We waited in line at the DMV for like 80 hours so Jarrie could get he license renewed.  We ate some Chic-fil-A, which is a must any time I am in CO since we don't have one at home.  I tried some BlueBell ice cream.  Delish!  We are going to see a movie today and do a little shopping.  I can't wait!  I'm missing Whit though.  I can't wait until the family reunion in Bear Lake, UT.  Just a couple of days from now, it should be fun.  Sorry I have been a little MIA.  I will try to keep you all posted!

Grrrr...

I really hate some people!  I just had this lady contact me at Bloggy Blog Designz who has violated terms and conditions of her design.  She requested a refund.  I apologized and reminded her that we don't issue refunds for any reason.  Well she sent me an email today letting me know how disappointed she was, and how unfair it is.  I sent her a copy of our terms and conditions, highlighting the area "We do not issue refunds for any reason."  We also haven't had any contact from her since February.  In order for us to even begin a design, we have EVERYONE check a little box stating that they agree to and have read all of our terms and conditions.  So it's not my fault if she chose not to, but she did agree to them.  It pays to read those things ya know!

Anyhow, right after I sent her a copy of our terms and conditions, I received an email from paypal stating that she had opened a dispute against us.

"We are contacting you to let you know that one of your buyers recently visited the Resolution Center and attempted to open a dispute against a payment. The buyer wished to dispute the payment sent on Feb 22, 2011.  This dispute has been deferred because it was not opened within 45 days of payment.

Even business's have a 30 day return policy.  It's been over three months!  I don't know.  I just am so upset about the whole thing.  She said that she wouldn't be sending business our way.  Which I can understand, but that sure sucks for us! 

What I'm thinking

So I am considering switching to Wordpress.  I have purchased a domain name and had it just sitting there for like 3 months or something.  We bought it so that we could do designs for Wordpress.  For some reason instead of getting it under Bloggy Blog Designz, we bought the domain neuffj.com.  It has a test design up right now, but I can move the test sites to another subdomain and just use neuffj.com for my blog.  What do you guys think?  I love Blogger.  I think it's easier to use, but people swear that, once you get the hang of it, Wordpress is the way to go.  I just don't know.  I also am thinking about redesigning my blog.  I love this design, I feel like it rings true to who I am, but I wonder if I could create something MORE me.  I don't know.  Just thoughts.

TV Obsessions

I wanna write a post, but nothing much is going on.  I leave in one week for Denver.  I am really excited.  From Denver, mom, the sis and kids, and I are all heading up to a family reunion in UT.  It's going to be at bear lake... which I haven't been to in YEARS.  I mean like since I was a little kid.  In fact I haven't been back to UT since my father passed away in 2004.  I sure miss him.  This reunion is for my fathers side, and he loved these things.  That is one thing that my father and mother have engrained in me... a strong love for family.  I know that this reunion is going to be a blast. I  love my family, on both sides.  

Other than that, nothing much is going on.  I came home from work today and Whitney had straightened up the house!  LOVE THAT!  Whit is at work right now, I miss him.  Oh here we go, my new TV obsession is "The Voice!"  It's so good.  I feel like a lot of the singers are truly amazing!  I can't wait to hear more of the performers next week.  My other TV obsession is "So you think you can Dance!"  I remember when the show first came on.  I was hooked from the beginning.  I haven't seen every season.  Didn't have cable some of the time, working the other.  But it's an amazing show.  What are you watching these days?

Job Interview

Okay so I know I told you about this job interview that I had about two weeks ago.  Well they sent a letter in the mail letting me know that they had hired someone else, so I threw that one aside.  Well, last week one of the actual Dentists in the office called me and asked me what kind of knowledge I have on newer technologies in the Dental Lab field, which it like none.  But I was totally honest.  They decided they wanted me to come in to interview for the position.  Woo Hoo!  

So I had my interview yesterday.  They explained to me what kinds of things they would expect of me and also what kinds of things their lab is looking to do in the next few months.  They said it would be a month before I would start, which was great cause I leave for Denver next week.  I told them I was going on vacation, and they told me to give them a call when I get home to see when I would start.  They didn't however say... "you got the job!!!"  It sounds like maybe I did, but I don't wanna get my hopes up!  What do you guys think?
