TV Obsessions

I wanna write a post, but nothing much is going on.  I leave in one week for Denver.  I am really excited.  From Denver, mom, the sis and kids, and I are all heading up to a family reunion in UT.  It's going to be at bear lake... which I haven't been to in YEARS.  I mean like since I was a little kid.  In fact I haven't been back to UT since my father passed away in 2004.  I sure miss him.  This reunion is for my fathers side, and he loved these things.  That is one thing that my father and mother have engrained in me... a strong love for family.  I know that this reunion is going to be a blast. I  love my family, on both sides.  

Other than that, nothing much is going on.  I came home from work today and Whitney had straightened up the house!  LOVE THAT!  Whit is at work right now, I miss him.  Oh here we go, my new TV obsession is "The Voice!"  It's so good.  I feel like a lot of the singers are truly amazing!  I can't wait to hear more of the performers next week.  My other TV obsession is "So you think you can Dance!"  I remember when the show first came on.  I was hooked from the beginning.  I haven't seen every season.  Didn't have cable some of the time, working the other.  But it's an amazing show.  What are you watching these days?

So I found this cute little hop over at Mommywood.  She was participating in this hop that asks 5 questions and you give 5 answers.  Seems fun enough to me, so I went over to Seriously Shawn and linked up.






1.} If the blogging world had a talent show, what would your act be?
I would sing.  I've always loved it.  It's totally fun!!

2.} What's the most likely reason you might become famous?
 Not to bore you again, but singing.  I've been blessed with an awesome talent, which I happen to love, so I was going to be famous for one thing, that would be it!

3.} What question are you repeatedly asked that you are tired of hearing?
"How are you doing?"   Why does every conversation start out this way?  I appreciate it when people really want to know, but I feel like people ask simply because it's the thing to say.  Does that make sense?

4.} What's the last thing you broke?
My foot.  It's almost been a year now and it's still giving me trouble.

5.} Finish this sentence. I can't believe I used to...
work 4 jobs at a time.  Minimum of 2 at least.

Forever Snow and some Answers.

So it snowed a crap ton.  All day yesterday!  It was blizzardy and windy and snowy and crazy!  Almost everything around here was closed, including I-70.  They said on the news that I-70 was closed between Kansas City and saint Louis.  I don't know if it actually was, but it's still crazy.  Someone was out shoveling snow, another guy was stuck in the road and his car was just spinning out.  Whitney went to help him, but the guy finally got a system going where he backed up and then sped forward over the part he had already drove through.  I've been tinkering around with Wordpress hoping to soon offer Blog Designz for Wordpress blogs.  It's been challenging, but it looks like there are alot more options for customizing without having to know HTML.  Since I already know some HTML this makes my life very easy!  I promised that in my next post I would answer your questions.  So here they are.

"If you could live anywhere in the world where would it be?"

Answer:  Probably next to the beach.  I have never been out of the Country so I am not sure how much I would like it.  I like living in the US.  I think I would like being next to the beach in CA, but would hate how crowded it is.  I love Denver too with all the mountains being jsut out your window.  It's so nice there.  I know that didn't answer your question, but I guess either CA or CO.

Answer:  Seeing as how I am not a mother yet, but watching my sister with her kids lets me know I want to be one someday!

What is your greatest talent.

Answer:  By far my greatest talent is singing.  I love it and it thankful comses naturally.  I was blessed to have a mother and father who had amazing voices and I guess it just carried on to me, and my sister.  I have other talents as well, but this is the one I am best known for and enjoy the most.

A lil About Me!

Well, here is the run down on lil Ole me! I am entirely new to this blogging world. I've only been at it for about a month and a half and I see that it fits me quite well! I've snuggled in quite nicely with my lappy and get down with the get down. I have always had a secret passion for writing. I didn't much express it in school, but that's okay! It's quite a different story when you are telling your very own!
I have 2 siblings, both older... which of course makes me the spoiled brat, right? I have my moments, but I think I am pretty tolerable. I love to laugh and look for the positive in life so that I can enjoy the laughter at every turn. I am easily amused, I mean I laugh at most everything. My adorable boyfriend Whitney keeps a smile on my face all day long.
We have the most spoiled Malshi puppy, and not by our hand... but by way of her previous owner. We lover her to death, but it's just pitiful how much she acts like a little princess. I am sure she was shell shocked when she came to live with us! She brings us much joy, and laughter.
I work as a Dental Lab Tech and have been doing so for the last 9 years now. It's interesting work, almost artistic. I went to school in Provo, UT 9 years ago and have been "tech"ing away ever since!

About 1 year ago I discovered the blogosphere and the fun it entails.  While searching through the blog world I happened upon a ton of really cute and fun designz.  I thought, "I bet I can do that."  I tinkered around until I figured out what I was doing and how to create awesome designz.  That's where the nickname Tinkerbell came from.  After taking at a stab at designing, I fell in love with Schnazzing blogs, and so Bloggy Blog Designz was born.
I have an intense passion for music and all things related. I sing and a few years ago chased my dreams of becoming a professional singer! I was titled Missouri's American Idol back in 2002, it was an honor and a pleasure. For me a dream come true. I went on to compete in a national competition, placing 3rd. I sang at the capitol on the 4th of July in 2004, I sang and the Mrs. MO pageant... as she went on to win Mrs. America that year! It was all amazing and thrilling to me... my time in the sun!
