Manic Monday... not so manic!

It's hard to think of a Manic Monday post cause I am so excited!  More on that in a minute.  Okay I'm digging deep here.  I mean I already blogged about my Friznied Laptop! All I can think about are cheery happy things.  Okay I got one, so my car has had a check engine light on for like ever.  I wasn't too concerned but Whit was, so we had it looked at.  Turns out something really was wrong!  So we have been waiting and waiting and waiting to get in at this shop but this guy keeps blowing us off.  I mean he actually had the nerve to tell Whit to be patient.  It's like, "Really? Cause do you want our business, or did you wanna be rude and piss me off?"  In any case his prices are like way cheaper and up until this point he had been nicer than anyone else we had talked to!  Really truly hard to believe, but yeah so we are STILL waiting!

Manic Monday - Sleepless in MO

Okie Dokie, it's time for more ramblings from MOI!  Manic Monday = sad day for me, or at least the expression of sad day.  I seriously haven't slept past 5 am in over a month now.  I am about to go crazy.  I am waking up at 4am or earlier on a regular basis! Can I just say that this can cause a person to say silly things?  Do silly things?  Think silly things?  Just be silly? Not to mention, I am tired... and a lil cranky!  Also my sister is in frickin Hawaii.  I am super jealous of that.  Happy she is glazing a toasty tan under the sun, but really wish I was there with the Whit!  Hee hee.  Love you sis!  So do you have a Manic Monday post to share?  If so, head over to Whitney's Random Ideas and sign Mr. Linky!

Ding Dong?

Who rings the doorbell at firckin 12:30 in the morning/ night?  I just want to know?  Yeah, so here we are, sleeping so sound.  I could have swore I heard the doorbell.  No way, it couldn't have been.  Then ding dong.  Are you frickin kidding me?  "baby, I think someone's at the door," I mumble to Whit.  He replies, "yeah, I know.  I don't think we should get it."  I'm thinking... uh ok well hardly anyone  I know would DARE to wake me at midnight unless it was an emergency.  (That's right folks, I'm an early bird.  I go to bed early, I wake up early.  I get very irritable if you mess with my sleep.)  So I get up, and go to answer the door, but Whitney stops me (the protector he is) and says, "No wait, let me go."  =D

A little Venting never hurt anyone!

Time for another Manic Monday post!  Basically what can I find to vent about this week?  Okay so, totally my fault... this one right here... but I work in a different city than I live.  I travel about 35 miles to work, and I was ready to get out of there on Thursday.  I had just gotten paid and couldn't wait to get back home.  I usually work shorter days, about 5 hours or so.  This particular day I had worked 7 1/2 (wahhhh, I know) so I was just ready to bust out and get home.  I went to the bank, cashed my check... called the Whit and started home.  Totally missing out on part of my normal routine before I skip town, and forgot to fill up my gas tank.  I am sure you guys can guess the rest.  That's right folks... in the autumn chill on a highway stretch, I ran out of gas!  Ick... so what about you?

Whoa whoa, wish it was Sunday....

Thats my Fun Day!  Just another Manic Monday.  Seriously I can't help to sing that song every time I write one of these posts!  I do love Mondays.  I just hate being sick.  I know still sick!  Like really, I never ever ever take naps.  This week I have had some form of a nap nearly every day... so unlike me.  I had a nap on Saturday that lasted like 2 or tree hours and still managed to hit the hay early!  Which leads to me saddest and most devastating news... no pumpkin festival : (  I was sooooooo looking forward to that.  I love fall and anything related.  Heck I love all seasons for many reasons, but I am sad I missed out yet again on another pumpkin festival.  I feel like I have been destined to miss out forever!  At least my house is decorated.  Waaaaa waaaa poor me, thats my Manic Monday!  To join our venting, please head over to Whitney's Random Ideas.

OKay, so .........

...don't be disappointed in me, but I still am not quite ready.  I had a few hiccups and am a lil upset that I am not further along in my process.  But good things come to those who wait =) So chins up my lil ones... bling : D  This brings about my Manic Monday post.  I know, I'm being ever so vague... yet I kinda like the comments that this has brought on.  Don't worry I won't prey upon my most loved followers with this new technique of secrecy as a way to get more out of you.  (hint, I really love your comments)  I took a lil time to catch up on some bloggy friends yesterday, but I am missing you all and will return shortly with hopefully a surprise that at least one of you will love!  Til next time... Complaints Complaints... Manic Monday <

So I recently put it together that my whole idea of Fab Friday Newz, might kind of go against the whole Manic Monday theme because FFN is all about finding the positive in everything and spreading joy... but to be honest, sometimes you just need to vent!  And man it feels so good to get the little things off your chest sometimes.  The silly things that others can relate to, or the things that you think no one else can.  "Opposition in all things."  It's the sorrows in life that truly help us to appreciate the joys.  I've come to the conclusion that FFN, and MM's are the perfect compliment to one another!  Okay, off my soap box. 

Whit and I went to go rent a movie, we had searched high and low for this particular one and found it at a store across town.  I hadn't rented there in over a year or so because I had moved.  They told me that I had a late fee and asked if I would like to pay on it (I was glad to have been given the option.)  I asked how much it was, and nearly passed out at the response.  It was something like $24.00  They told me the names of the movies.  Two movies I had never even seen, and my mind started racing over the details... how was this even possible.  A roommate I used to have had rented a couple of times under my account, and apparently been late.  Grrrr... well nothing I could do about it now.  I paid a portion of the late fee, and made note not to let anyone else ever rent under my account!

Frustrationns in Technology

Manic Monday
So basically I just posted this tutorial yesterday right? Yeah, I know which means that I should know something about the whole techno world, right? Yeah, well the truth is this is all very new to me. The truth is I am totally new to this big ole blogosphere. I love it, all of it. I soak it in. I spend most of my time wrapped up with my lappy, perfectly content to scribe a post or a comment, to read a blog... but my new found love is the world of HTML. I have taken to it, and it has taken to me. I toy with it all the time, hence the reason my blog background has changed so frequently recently, also the reason my mans blog has done the same. I tinker. My name is Neuffj, and I tinker! It is kinda exciting to see what all you can do if you just mess with the code and see what all does what. I like it, I guess. I learn something, and see how I can apply it to what I already know, then yes... I tinker.
The only problem is when you are a slight perfectionist, like I am, and you try something and are unsuccessful with your results. Especially for over 24 hours. This can be a little... shall we say, exasperating. Yes, I have spent over 24 hours trying to accomplish this one specific task, and it is NOT working. Auto Insurance, and How it Got the Best of Me

This is my first time participating in a Manic Monday blog hop and I think we all deserve a chance to vent. Okay, so I know that this is horrible and totally my own fault, but a little over a year ago I got caught driving without any car insurance. As punishment for my actions I received notification that the department of motor vehicles would be tracking my insurance records to ensure that I maintain automobile insurance for the next three years. I assume this is because some people get insurance just long enough for court, then drop it. It's not so much about having the auto insurance, I'm totally all for that! In fact, I wasn't really aware that it had lapsed before and that I was not covered. It's the whole being monitored thing. So, I made a few changes... and now I have a automatic monthly reminder as the cash is withdrawn from my account that I am being watched. Grrrr... It's just another Manic Monday.
