Great day!

Today was a great day!  Aunt Barb was in town and I had planned to go eat lunch with my grandma.  They surprised me and brought her along.  I don't get to see her too often, but she is lots of fun and I totally love her so it was GREAT!  Yeah... Tony the Tiger grrrrrrrrrreat!  Whatever happened to those commercials?  My grandma and I went to go see the new Narnia movie.  It was awesome.  I love all the religious analogies that are involved in the movie.  Really makes you think.  The movie was in 3D so that was fun.  And afterwards my grandma asked me if I would like to borrow her Narnia books.  I gladly said yes, as I have only read the Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe.  I am very much looking forward to reading them.  Also, Whitney and I got to spend a little time together before I leave for Denver in a few days.  I have to work tomorrow and have an appointment in the late afternoon, so it was nice to sneak in a little together time.  Well that's it for now.  Just wanted to brush you up on my day!

Eclipse

We went and saw eclipse yesterday!   I won't spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen it yet.  It was good, but why do I always think it' going to be slightly different?  I'm not sure what I am expecting when I go in to see a Twilight movie, but I always leave wanting just a little more.  I think more than anything I miss the connection I had while reading the book. 

I imagine it's that world that I'm transported to every time I read a book, and I doubt it could ever match up.  The characters are not at all what I would expect based on the book, and I think that has a big part in it.  I am thinking I will re-read Breaking Dawn before the new film is released.  Whitney hasn't read any of them and he LOVES the movies. 

Don't get me wrong, I like them too... I just want that feeling.  Does anyone else feel this way when they go see a Twilight film after having read the books?
